Assumptions - false perceptions
Wearing dark glasses he is coming my way
Carrying a white stick, unkempt disgusting I say
He smells, had he ever had a bath any day?
I show my disgust without fear
After all, he is blind, cannot see, even near
But words I do not utter ‘cause he might hear
She is coming my way and scowls at me
Why does she hate me, rude wasn’t she?
She didn’t shout, I may not be deaf, you see
Must go; have to return this white stick
To my blind friend who needs it quick
The sunglasses of course are mine alright
I am not blind, just cannot stand bright light
