I like to hang myself at times
As a poor picture on the wall
In mould and webs where spider climbs
I'm like a priceless gem - that's all
When I am rigid and all stiff
My value will then be lowered
I'll curse my life both stiff and tiff
Heaven and earth will be bothered
I hung myself many a time
(The world is full of crooked men)
But - banal things: a nail or twine
Were both no good to hold me then
So I kill myself and live still
I can't have new "stop-life" thoughts
Being fed up I take a thrill:
"Take a tram ride, not nils and noughts"
