To the Theatre | final version
translated poem:
Στο θέατρο
-
Yiannis Petsalakis
We were in the theatre tonight
your hand a unique warmness
there was a riot from rain outside
but we were hand to hand inside
I was feeling a little voice
to be rising in my lips
"I love you, I love you" she was telling me
but I couldn't say it loudly
the theatre was crowded
thunders and lightnings outside
rain outside
the little voice inside of me
was up til my lips
and I was smothering her again
the theatre has finished
and we are still together.
