A glass of red wine
a table a pen sheets of paper poems
a book a calendar a laptop
music a lit candle
a newspaper a mobile phone SMSes
frantic love-making
unreciprocated love
I toss I tangle I shuffle
a wardrobe an armchair a bed
a window with a view of the world's harmony
chaos within these four walls
Inner concern yearning
anxiety fear of option
I do everything and honestly nothing
I cannot concentrate
I know I must go deeper
but I am scared I will not endure the pain
Loneliness I like and curse
I wish someone in the end
took me out of my cocoon
and showed how life looks like
A glass of red wine
sharpens sight and whets the appetite
Loneliness does not serve with me
