Long johns are hard to be worn
during spring, summer and fall
so it is hard all to warn
that harsh winter comes at all

Remember? it was fall then
leaves glittered in the sun
we walked in wood again
dressed nicely, strolled then run

And nobody predicted
that sudden cold was to come
you - lazy and addicted
and yawning, stiff and numb

Then sudenly you noticed
my long johns in the sun
even in place remotest
